This scholarship program was implemented by the Social Council in the course 2012-2013 as part of its commitment to promote research, and since then, a total of 251 students have benefited from this initiative, for which the Social Council has allocated more than 250.000 euros. The scholarships are endowed with 1.000 euros each and are aimed at students who are going to finish their degree studies or who are enrolled in the first year of one of the official UVa master's degrees in the academic year. 2020-2021.
To qualify for these scholarships, Candidates must have a minimum average grade between 6,5 and 7,5 points according to the branch of knowledge. Besides, In this edition the students, as a merit to be valued, They will be able to prove a level of mastery of any foreign language (not only english) intermedio alto B2, through an official certificate in accordance with the levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. In addition, They must present a research project that is connected to their scientific-technical history and, in your case, with the final degree or master's degree project they are doing, also valuing this section.
The call for scholarships will be open until 15 October inclusive, period in which students must present all the necessary documentation to qualify for aid at the Secretariat of the L.O.U departments and institutes. who have chosen to provide their collaboration.
The period of enjoyment of the scholarship will be extended until 31 July 2021, with a calendar of activities 30 monthly hours during 7 months until completing a total of 210 hours, that can be adjusted to the necessary academic pace.
