SETRACAV: Real-time tracking of characteristic features of a video stream.

Summary

This project seeks to address the removal and real time monitoring features or features in a video sequence as a step to get 3D video reconstruction from 2D video streams. This technique can be used in applications tele-immersion or reality environments virtualized.

Objectives

The main objective of this research project is the design and implementation of an algorithm for real-time tracking of the traits or characteristics of a video stream. This main objective can be broken down into the following secondary objectives:

  1. Getting the computation time of the algorithm is less than real time.
  2. Find the best balance between image quality and algorithm input accuracy and computation time.
  3. Search the integration of the algorithm in a commercial.
