J2ObjC: Google helps us to bear our iOS Android projects.

Among mobile application developers is notoriously difficult to create the same project on different platforms. Today we have a development platform, such as Adobe Flex, that helps us to make compilations of the same project for both Android, iOS and even Blackberry. These development platforms will help both virtual machine terminals as codes written in Javascript, CCS y HTML5, therefore are not able to generate native code to terminal 100 %.

The project J2ObjC created by Google tries through a command line tool to translate Java code of our Android projects in Objective-C code to use on our projects in iOS. For now the goal of the project is to be used in code that does not intervene in the user interface layer, but is used only for use in applications or portions of code or data access involving the application logic.

It certainly is an interesting project that can help sometimes, and if it continues to develop it may one day be able to translate completely our iOS Android projects and vice versa.

On the project page you can find more information.
